Hi, I am looking for a VB Script to log on/off from secured network folders connecting through Windows Authentication.
My reason is that I have local NAS devices which are used for backing up various PC’s but, at the moment the users have access to the NAS backup folder via My Computer and edit / delete the files.
Ideally I would like the backup software to run a script to log on to the password protected folder, run the backup and then run the script again to log off. This way, as soon as the backup job is complete there is no open connection to the folder. It also means that I can use the same logon credentials for all backup sessions for all machines.
Does anybody have such a script or suggestions where to look for such a thing?
