Copy Last six Months data from NAS Folder

HI All,

 We have a lots of folders by date and millions of small files in thoes folders.  \\NAS\Recordings  So i want to copy last six months data to a another location and backup. backing up this NAS folder take 3 days.

Pls help me to create the script to copy. Then i can backup those 6 months data to a tape.
