PowerShell FTP Client Module - PSFTP - Issue with Get-FTPItem (alias Receive-FTPItem)

Hi All,

I came across the following power-shell modules:
http://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/scriptcenter/PowerShell-FTP-Client-db6fe0cb

Which works brilliantly for me apart from the Get-FTPItem section. When I try to use this I do not get any error messages or any output from the power-shell editor and no files appear to be copied from the FTP location to my local storage location.

Everything else in the example script seems to be working fine with test files and directories being created, renamed and deleted without issue. However I cannot get it to copy the files/folders from the FTP server to my local machine.

Has anyone else had this issue or have any input on this. Failing that an alternate solution would be very welcome.

I've been asked to put together a power-shell script to pull down the entire directory contents of an FTP location, this includes multiple files and folders. So I am looking for a script which will allow me to do this and ideally keep the folder structure intact after copying it down.

So far I have tried various options but this module seemed the easiest/best...but annoyingly the one feature I want to use appears to not work for me.

I've tested by running the script example via the windows power shell ise editor tool. I've also tried adjusting various values in case there was an issue with folder names.

Could anyone help?

New to power shell so just going on examples to try and achieve what I need to.
