Hi, I'm trying to start using Powershell for the first time, however I have this problem where I am unable to input the | character. This is available to me in all other programs that I have used such Word or Notepad, but for some reason in Powershell I get the broken line charcter instead, in fact when in powershell I have two keys which produce the ` character, but no matter what key or combination of keys I try I cannot find the | character.
I'm using a UK keyboard on Windows 7 64bit, I have also tried the US language but still cannot producw the |.
Does anybody have an idea what could be wrong?
