So I'm ready to pull my hair out... I've been asked to create a csv file that shows the default printer for each workstation. This is a monumental feet and from what I've seen online (and try myself) this is not an easy one.
I've tried scripting it to have it query wmi and the win32_printer class. However I'm coming to realize that if a particular device is accessed by more than one user, it may have multiple default printers and report incorrectly.
I've tried digging into the registry to obtain this data, but didn't really get anywhere.
Can anyone steer me in the right direction?
