On a network drive I want a script to delete folders that have been created temporary while an update was being installed

Ok here is my question,

I have a server that when updates are installed, a folder is created temporary that houses the update file, once update is done I do know the folder is suppose to be deleted, but I have over 50 to 60 folders with a subfolder called "sand box" that has nothing in them. I know I can go and delete every folder that has several numbers and letters as the title of the folder, but I just don't have time for that. I was wanting to know if a script can be written and scheduled performed to do this for me without any interaction.

I am new to power shell, and just getting my feet wet with this "looks to be awesome" tool to use. If anyone can help me out, I do appreciate the time.

thanks,

SS
