Copy files from a local workstation to a windows 2012 sever machine

I just installed a windows server 2012 machine with my personal user and the administrator user. I want to backup the information of the local workstations to this new server. I was thinking to create a batch file an set it with the task scheduler for each workstation.

I have tried many of the scripts that found in the forums but none worked. 

I would really appreciate any help.
