Track USB Key Usage

I am looking to track, statistically, when a USB key is inserted into a Windows 7 machine. I found a log file - Microsoft-Windows-DriverFrameworks-UserMode - which tracks just this information. I can parse it as necessary, but cannot find a way to easily extract the data via a VB script. FWIW, I know there may be utilities out there that track this, but I am looking to export this data to Altiris to track via reports.
