My request would be to build a report that given an exported list of clustered flavor servers such as 2003, 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019 - which server holds the witness disk. Clusters are 2-node or 4-node - all that is provided are the server names and the OS. The server that holds the witness disk would be considered (A) Active and the other (P) Passive. We then sort the servers and run the A group and then schedule at one time for MS patching and then the P group schedule at a later time when the A group is done patching.
All of this is done via SCCM 2012. Maybe a report is included in SCCM that I'm not aware of.
We have over 500 clusters and we are presently taking the output from SCCM and basically logging into a server
with the cluster manager for the appropriate OS and plugging in the server name to get the witness disk. Then we manually enter the A or P in the 1st column.
Report output would be:
(A) Active / (P) Passive Cluster Name Server Name OS

p WC123C WS456AS Microsoft Windows NT Server 6.3
