Powershell script to Compress log files into .zip

Dear All,

I am looking for script to do the following:-

1. Scan all the *.log files within one folder

2. Organize all .log files in descending order

3. Get all the .log files (except the 1st descended file)

4. and Compress them to  a zip format file with the naming as the 2nd descending file's filename

After Compression in that folder, only left behind one .log file and one .zipped file.

Can anyone help me on this?
