Script to find Serial Number of all workstations on network including host name

Hello all,

hoping you can help me with one of 2 things. I would like to find out the serial number and hostname of all laptops and desktops on our network. Specifically European network and excluding US and Asia networks but that's not really the problem.

there are a few options the way I see it but happy to be corrected.

1) I would like to get a script which when run will return the hostname and serial number of each laptop and desktop on the network in a csv file.

2) have a script which when run requires the input of a serial number and the hostname/ip address is returned in output.

is either of these possible please?
